Pet and egg philosophy in Drill for Eggs

Pets are the income engine of Drill for Eggs on Roblox. You steal guarded eggs, carry them home past guardians, place them on the farm, wait out gestation, then hatch creatures that generate Cash — including while you are offline. Drills and Power only matter because they feed this loop with better eggs faster.

How eggs become Cash

1. Drill into a zone with enough Power and drill strength.
2. Take an egg and outrun the guardian using Speed.
3. Place the egg on your farm grass to start gestation (rarer eggs take longer).
4. Hatch when ready; the pet occupies a farm slot and pays Cash over time.
5. Leave strong pets placed so offline sessions still credit your balance.

Failing a steal wastes the trip, not a shop purchase — which is why Speed buttons near base are part of pet progression, not a side stat. Controls reminder: controls guide.

Rarity philosophy (no fake Cash/s table)

Egg and pet rarity climbs as zones get harder. Higher rarity generally means stronger baseline income and longer hatch timers. That does not mean you should ignore commons on day one — an empty farm earns nothing. Fill slots early, then replace from the bottom as better hatches arrive.

We do not publish invented Cash-per-second numbers. Thumbnails that flash “millions per second” are usually multi-rebirth, mutated, endgame showcases. Your live pet tooltip is the only number that matters for your multipliers. Rank pets by role instead:

• Starter fillers — any hatch that starts passive Cash while you learn routes
• Mid-game workhorses — reliable rarities from zones you can clear consistently
• Index chasers — first-time species you have never unlocked (reward > duplicate)
• Mutation targets — same fantasy pet with a mutated earnings edge from later Worlds
• Offline anchors — highest earners you deliberately leave placed before logging off

Index rewards beat hoarding duplicates

The first time you unlock a pet, it appears in the Index. Open Index and claim the one-time reward; type and size scale with rarity and origin zone. A red exclamation on the Index button means you are leaving free value unclaimed. Auto-claim features exist in some scripts (Scripts Hub, ban risk), but manual claims take seconds.

Duplicates still occupy farm slots and pay Cash, yet they should not block you from attempting a new species in a zone you can already beat. Collection progress is progression — see Players for the Index loop beside Levels (Levels track Power milestones and do not deeply feed other systems).

Mutations and Worlds

Rebirth opens additional Worlds over time. Those Worlds carry eggs with unique Mutations. A mutated pet earns more than its standard counterpart. That single sentence is the late-game pet tier list: once you can reach mutation Worlds, prioritize mutated hatches over grinding endless plain duplicates of an older rarity.

Mutation chasing still respects the steal rules. If your Speed cannot secure the egg, the mutation might as well not exist. Upgrade drills when the Cash notifier fires (drills), retrain Power (training), and only then camp the richer World.

Offline Cash priorities

Pets keep earning while you are away. Before you quit Roblox:

• Place your strongest earners (mutated and high rarity first)
• Finish any almost-done gestations so they can hatch or sit ready
• Claim pending Index rewards so you do not forget tomorrow
• Avoid leaving the farm full of obsolete starters if you already own better replacements

Offline income will not outpace an active steal session, but it softens the cost of sleep, school, or work. Combine it with Rebirth multipliers — the first Rebirth’s 1.5x Cash applies to pet payouts, which makes offline sessions noticeably fatter after you prestige once.

Group exclusive tip

Join the Crazay Future Roblox group tied to the experience. Group membership is the usual channel for exclusive animal or perk messaging in this creator’s games, and it is also where code announcements would appear if promo codes ever launch (none are active yet — Codes Hub). Pet spending vs drill spending

Cash does not buy pets directly the way it buys drills; you “buy” better pets with successful steals and time. Still, Cash allocation matters:

• If zones feel slow, spend on the next drill.
• If zones are fine but the farm is weak, spend time on steals and hatches.
• If Power is at a Rebirth gate, prestige for the multiplier that buffs every pet at once.

Practical upgrade path

1. Hatch anything to start Cash (Getting Started).
2. Claim every new Index entry.
3. Raise Speed; stop dying to guardians.
4. Replace lowest earners as mid-rarities land.
5. Take first Rebirth at 1.5x when ready.
6. Push Worlds for mutations; rebuild the farm around them.
7. Recheck Updates after patches for egg pool changes.
