Drill for Eggs Getting Started

Your first session in Drill for Eggs — from spawn to a working Cash loop.

Getting Started

Drill for Eggs is a free-to-play Roblox simulator by Crazay Future. You train Power, spend Cash on drills, break into guarded zones, steal eggs, outrun guardians with Speed, hatch pets that earn Cash (including offline), and eventually Rebirth for a permanent Cash multiplier. This guide gets you through the first session without dead ends.

Watch the embedded gameplay / script overview video mid-page for a live look at the loop, then keep this checklist open while you play. For keybinds, see Controls. For deeper systems, jump to Training Power, How to Steal Eggs, Rebirth, Worlds and Mutations, and Speed and Index.

First five minutes

  1. Learn the base. Your base is home for training, Speed buttons, egg placement, and pet income. Note where the auto-train zone sits relative to the Drill Shop and the green Speed buttons.
  2. Train Power immediately. Hold or spam LMB to train manually, or stand in the auto-train zone near the base. Power is the gate for drilling strength and later Rebirth. Do not wander far until you have a basic Power cushion.
  3. Open the Drill Shop. Buy the cheapest useful drill you can afford. Cash comes from pets once you hatch them, so your first goal is one successful steal and hatch. The shop can notify you when a drill becomes affordable — listen for that cue instead of camping the menu.
  4. Learn interact. Press E to interact with shops, eggs, and placement spots. Movement is WASD; Space jumps. Full notes are on the Controls page.

Your first steal

Stealing is the core risk of Drill for Eggs. With a drill equipped and enough Power, enter a zone, drill through, and take the egg. Guardians chase you. Before a hard run, buy Speed from the green buttons near the base so you can outrun the chase and return home.

Place the stolen egg at your base to start gestation. When gestation finishes, the egg hatches into a pet. That pet earns Cash over time, including while you are offline — this is what funds better drills and more Speed.

Common first-session mistakes:

  • Running a steal with no Speed stocked up.
  • Spending all Cash on a flashy drill before you can survive the escape.
  • Ignoring the auto-train zone and only clicking when you remember.
  • Leaving an egg unplaced after a successful steal.

Read How to Steal Eggs for escape routing and guardian timing. Pair it with Training Power so your Power keeps pace with the zones you attempt.

Index, Levels, and pets

The Index tracks pets you unlock. The first time you unlock a pet, you get a one-time Index reward. After that, duplicates still help your Cash economy, but the Index payout is first-unlock only. Check the Index after every new hatch so you do not miss that reward.

Levels are not a separate XP bar. They mark Power milestones only. When guides or UI mention Level, treat it as a Power checkpoint, not a second grind you need to optimize.

Pets are your idle engine. Even a weak early pet beats having none, because offline Cash keeps working while you are away. Stack pets as you clear safer zones, then push into harder eggs once drills and Speed catch up.

Drill Shop priorities

Spend Cash on drills that unlock the next zone you can actually clear, not the most expensive name on the list. Players often call out Diamond and Electric drills in mid progression; treat those as named milestones, not day-one purchases. Use the affordable-drill notifier so you know when an upgrade is ready without reopening the shop every minute.

A practical early order:

  1. Enough Speed for one clean escape.
  2. A drill that matches your current Power.
  3. More training time (manual or auto) before the next shop jump.
  4. Only then stretch for a named upgrade like Diamond or Electric when Cash and Power both support it.

When to think about Rebirth

Do not Rebirth in your first ten minutes. Rebirth resets Power to 0 in exchange for a permanent Cash multiplier. The first Rebirth is commonly cited at 1.5x Cash and unlocks Worlds with Mutations. That is a huge mid-game swing, but only after you can rebuild Power quickly with stronger Cash flow.

Rule of thumb for beginners: hatch a few pets, own a stable drill, understand steals, then open the Rebirth guide and decide. Rebirthing with zero pet income makes the Power reset feel brutal.

Codes, tier list, and scripts

There are no known promo codes yet. Keep an eye on the Codes hub for future drops. When you have multiple pets or drills, use the Tier List to decide what to invest in next. Some players use automation listed on Scripts — read the safety notes there before trusting any executor tool.

Creator and community context lives under Players. Patch notes and shop changes land on Updates. After any update, re-check drill prices and Rebirth messaging in case thresholds moved.

First-session checklist

  • Train Power at base (LMB or auto-train zone).
  • Buy Speed from green buttons before a risky steal.
  • Purchase an affordable drill; wait for the notifier when saving up.
  • Steal one egg, escape the guardian, place the egg, wait for gestation.
  • Claim the Index reward on first-time pet unlocks.
  • Reinvest Cash into drills and Speed; keep training between runs.
  • Bookmark Guides Hub, Training Power, Steal Eggs, Rebirth, Worlds and Mutations, and Speed and Index.

Follow that loop and Drill for Eggs opens up quickly. The game rewards players who treat Power, Cash, Speed, and drills as one system instead of four separate grinds.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What should I do first in Drill for Eggs?

Train Power near your base, buy Speed and an affordable drill, then complete one steal-and-hatch cycle so pets start earning Cash.

How do I train Power as a beginner?

Click with LMB to train manually, or stand in the auto-train zone near your base. Both raise Power; auto-train is better while you manage shops or AFK briefly.

What is the Index reward?

The first time you unlock a pet, the Index pays a one-time reward. Later copies of that pet do not repeat the Index payout.

Should I Rebirth on day one?

Only after you understand steals and have pet Cash flowing. The first Rebirth gives about 1.5x Cash permanently but resets Power to 0.

Are there codes for free Cash or pets?

No promo codes are confirmed yet. Watch the Codes hub and redeem in-game when a code appears.

Where are the full controls listed?

See the Controls guide for WASD movement, Space jump, LMB train, E interact, plus mobile and console notes.
