Drill for Eggs Rebirth Guide
Trade Power for permanent Cash multipliers and unlock Worlds with Mutations.
Rebirth is the main long-term reset in Drill for Eggs. When your Power hits the Rebirth threshold, you can reset Power to 0 in exchange for a permanent Cash multiplier. The first Rebirth is commonly cited at 1.5x Cash. Later Rebirths continue the multiplier path and open Worlds that introduce Mutations. This guide explains when the button is worth pressing and how to recover fast afterward.
If you are still learning the loop, finish Getting Started first. Rebirth rewards players who already understand Training Power and stealing eggs.
What Rebirth does
- Resets Power to 0. Your strength and Power-based Level milestones start over.
- Keeps a permanent Cash multiplier. First Rebirth example: 1.5x Cash on earnings going forward.
- Unlocks Worlds with Mutations. Post-Rebirth content expands the map and pet outcomes beyond the starter loop.
- Does not erase the reason you Rebirth. Pets, drills, and economy knowledge matter more after the reset because Cash flows harder while Power is temporarily low.
Exact later multipliers and every World name can change with patches — check Updates after big releases. The structure stays the same: Power threshold → reset Power → keep Cash multiplier → push new content.
When to take the first Rebirth
Rebirth too early and the Power reset stalls steals. Rebirth too late and you sit on a threshold with weak Cash while others pull ahead. Use these checks before the first 1.5x:
- Pets are earning. You have hatched pets that generate Cash, including offline. Without pet income, rebuilding Power is slow.
- You own a workable drill. Cash after Rebirth should buy training time and the next drill quickly. Named mid-game drills such as Diamond and Electric are easier to chase with a multiplier.
- You can steal again soon. Know the guardian escape path and keep Speed funded from the green buttons near base.
- You understand Index rewards. First-time pet unlocks still matter after Rebirth when Worlds and Mutations add new Index entries.
If any of those four fail, keep training and hatching. Power spent past the threshold is not wasted if it funds safer steals and Index unlocks first.
How to rebuild Power after Rebirth
Power starts at 0, but Cash should be stronger. Prioritize:
- Auto-train zone near the base for steady Power while you manage shops.
- Manual LMB training when you are actively playing and want faster ticks.
- Speed restock before the first post-Rebirth steal attempt.
- Drill Shop notifier so you buy the next affordable drill the moment Cash allows.
Your first post-Rebirth hour should feel like a compressed Getting Started run with better Cash. Do not immediately attempt the hardest zone just because the multiplier feels exciting. Clear comfortable eggs, hatch, then climb.
Worlds and Mutations
Rebirth unlocks Worlds that expand where you drill and what you can hatch. Mutations change pet outcomes and give collectors new Index targets. Treat Mutations as a reason to keep stealing after Rebirth rather than a day-one mechanic. Use the Tier List once multiple mutated or World-specific pets compete for investment.
For the full post-prestige playbook — World teleports, Mutation farm priority, Index planning, and common mistakes — continue on Worlds and Mutations. Pair it with Speed and Index before hard World steals so escape prep matches the new guardian pressure.
Worlds also change routing. Learn each world’s drill requirement and guardian pressure the same way you learned the starter zones — Power first, Speed second, greed last.
Rebirth and other systems
Levels still mean Power milestones only. After Rebirth your Level display drops with Power; that is expected, not a bug.
Codes do not replace Rebirth. There are no known promo codes yet; when codes appear on the Codes hub, redeem them, but plan progression around multipliers and pets, not freebies.
Scripts some players use for auto-train or farm loops are listed under Scripts. They do not change the Rebirth math; they only change how fast you hit the threshold. Follow safety guidance there.
Practical Rebirth plan
- Push Power while pets run offline Cash.
- Confirm Speed stock and a drill that matches upcoming zones.
- Take the first Rebirth for the 1.5x Cash multiplier when the checklist above is green.
- Rebuild Power with auto-train + short steals.
- Explore unlocked Worlds and chase Mutation Index unlocks — start with Worlds and Mutations.
- Repeat when the next threshold feels natural — never reset with empty pet income.
Cross-read Training Power for rebuild tactics, Steal Eggs for guardian escapes in new Worlds, and Worlds and Mutations for the prestige content map. For controls while you relearn muscle memory after a long break, use Controls. Creator notes live on Players; patch notes on Updates.
Rebirth is not a panic button. It is a planned trade: temporary Power loss for permanent Cash strength and access to Mutations. Take it when your economy can carry the reset, and Drill for Eggs opens its real mid-game.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What does the first Rebirth give in Drill for Eggs?
A permanent Cash multiplier commonly cited at 1.5x, a Power reset to 0, and access to Worlds with Mutations.
Do I lose my pets when I Rebirth?
Plan around the Power reset and Cash multiplier. Keep pet income healthy before you reset so rebuilding Power stays fast.
When should I Rebirth for the first time?
After pets earn Cash, you own a workable drill, and you can still steal with Speed. Avoid Rebirthing with no economy to rebuild on.
What are Worlds and Mutations?
Content unlocked through Rebirth. Worlds expand drilling targets; Mutations alter pet outcomes and add Index unlock goals. See the Worlds and Mutations guide for the full post-Rebirth loop.
Do Levels reset with Rebirth?
Levels track Power milestones only, so they fall when Power resets to 0. Raise Power again to climb Levels.
